Division style of a region

Division

The region is divided into the specified number of fields. You can specify up to 300 divisions. Higher values are automatically reset to 300.

Offset

When you enter a value here, the program divides the region into fields of this size. The remaining length is applied in accordance with the values entered for Offset at start/end.

Offset at start

You can specify a starting section that is not subdivided.

Offset at start fix

When you enable this option, the exact length you entered for Offset at start is used for the first section. Otherwise, the program simply creates the first section so that it is not shorter than the value specified.

Offset at end

You can specify a final section that is not subdivided.

Offset at end fix

When you enable this option, the exact length entered for Offset at end is used. Otherwise, the program simply creates the final section so that it is not shorter than the value specified.

Tip: Using the Subdivision per segment option and a division style of Division:1/Offset: /Offset at start: 0/Offset at end: 0, you can create railings with exactly one field for each line segment.

btn_segm_16 Subdivision per segment

When you enable this option, the division style set is applied to each straight segment of the base edge (of the path).

Close region

You can close a region while entering points. This automatically starts a new region. The individual regions of a railing can have different division styles. You can change the division style at any time (even while entering points) until you close a region.
