Joining railings

You can use Join railings to join two railings. For this, the railings must touch. This tool functions in the same way as Combine Lines to Make Polylines in the Draft module. After the railings have been joined, the new railing consists of at least two regions (one region for each former railing).

If one of the original railings was divided into regions, these regions still exist after the railings have been joined. Therefore, you may need to delete the regions so that the division style is applied to the entire railing. You can quit by pressing ESC.

The joined railing adopts the settings and attributes of the railing you click first.

Tip: You do not need to click the base edge (path) when you select a railing. You can click any element of the railing.
