Creating a new group for line styles / area styles

To create a new group for drawing types

1. Open the Define, manage line styles, area styles, drawing types dialog box.

   How to access the dialog box

   • On the Tools menu, click Defaults and then Line styles, area styles, drawing types.

     Or

     Click Select, Set Layers(How), select the Format Definition tab and click Manage line styles, area styles, drawing types.

     

     Activate Select, Set Layers in one of the following ways

     • Menu bar: Format

     • Keyboard: Ctrl+4

     • Toolbar: Format

   Note: The You are modifying the line styles in the office folder message indicates that you are about to change the settings of the office standard.

2. Enable the Show definition of drawing type setting.

   The existing drawing types are displayed.

3. Click in the Group column, enter a name for the new group and click OK to confirm.
