Options for placing fixtures in precast elements

Tool(s): Place fixture / fixture group / dynamic group fixture

The following options to place linear fixtures are provided in the Input options:

• Enter polyline: enter the polyline for the fixture in plan view.
• Match element: if necessary, enter an offset in the dialog line. Then click the element.
• Use room edge: if necessary, enter an offset in the dialog line. Then click the room edge (for slab panels).
• Match recess: click the recess. The fixture is placed around the recess.
• Use panel edge: if necessary, enter an offset in the dialog line. Click the edge of a single panel.
• Parameters: this parameter is available when the fixture to be placed is a shaped fixture. You can set the reference point and the rotation of the shape here.
  

The following options to place surface fixtures are provided in the Input options:

• Enter polyline: enter the polyline for the fixture in plan view.
• Use room edge: if necessary, enter an offset in the dialog line. Then click the room edge (for slab panels).
• Fill panel: click the relevant panel. The fixture is placed over the whole surface.
• Use panel edge: if necessary, enter an offset in the dialog line. Click the edge of a single panel.
