Opens a dialog box where you can save and convert the open bitmap. You can use any standard bitmap format. Allplan provides advanced options, which are particularly useful for converting bitmaps to special formats (e.g. for the Internet).
You can use the advanced options near the bottom of the Save As dialog box to define the file format more precisely and to create special formats.
Tip: When you open a bitmap file, the Image info area on the right side of the dialog box provides information on the file size, bits per pixel, resolution and file format.
File name
Enter the name for the file here.
File type
Specify the file format.
Bits per pixel
Specify the color depth using bits (number of colors = 2^number of bits).
Recommended: 24 bits (2^24 = 16.7 million colors)
Subfile type
You can define the file format more precisely; for example you can select various compression methods.
Recommended: uncompressed (if available)
Not all of the methods are provided by all programs.
QFactor
You can set a quality factor (for JPEG), which defines the loss of quality for the compression methods. You can enter a value between 0 or 2 and 255.
The lower the factor, the higher the quality.
Tip: 0 (if available)
Prints the open bitmap in full page mode on Windows printers. You can use any printer to print bitmaps.
Note: Depending on the printer and its settings, printing large volumes of data can take some time.
Note: You can only select the printers and printer drivers that you have installed and configured under Windows.
