Parameters for hidden line images
In this dialog box you can specify how architectural components are displayed in sections.
Display in sections
Show ceilings / Show floors
You can specify whether ceilings or floors are displayed.
Show each layer / Show entire structure only
You can specify whether each individual layer or the entire structure of the finishing surfaces is displayed.
Total min. thickness / Min. thickness per layer
You can enter a value for the minimum thickness. Otherwise, the relevant finishing surface is not displayed in sections.
Apply surface elements to finishing surfaces
When you select this check box, the hatching, pattern, fill or style area applied to the finishing surfaces using the Floor, Ceiling or Room tool, Finish tab, is displayed in sections.
Apply thick line around intersected elements
When Apply thick line around intersected elements is selected, intersected elements are displayed with a thick line. You can also choose to display exterior edges or all edges with a thick line. Then select the pen and line color for the border in the Format properties area.
This setting only applies to components with hatching, pattern or fill. Roof covering, rafters, other timber elements or smart symbols are not affected.
Format properties for
You can specify the Pen, Line and Color for Boundary lines, Finish lines, Thick line for border and Hidden and intersected edges.
Surface elements
You can specify how the surfaces of intersected 3D objects and Hidden areas are displayed.
Representation
The Preview area shows the effect of the settings.
Note: To display the section correctly in the destination file, use the Combine Overlapping Lines tool (How) and select all the elements displayed in the section. The file always prints correctly.
