Style area

Module(s): Draft

You can use the Style Area tool to apply architectural surface styles to 2D areas. The area styles must already have been defined.

To apply an area style

1. Click Style Area (How).
   

   Activate Area Style in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Draft

   • Toolbar: Basic Tools Draft flyout
   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Draft

2. If you want, you can now change the style area parameters or select a different style area.
   The context toolbar provides several options.
   

   • Click Properties to set the parameters in a dialog box.
   • Click Match Properties to copy the settings from an area style that you already applied.
   • Click the number to select a different area style.
3. Enter the area using the polyline entry tools.
