Reset the window layout

You can use this tool to reset an amended arrangement of the user interface windows (see User-specific customization of the user interface) to your default settings (as after reinstalling the program). Optionally, this arrangement can also be reset to an already changed state, as it was when the program was last started.

Note: This tool can also be used to rectify the situation where previously undocked windows no longer appear when the program is reopened. This can be the case when working with multiple screens if a undocked window is on a different screen when the program is closed compared to the one on which the program is opened next time.

After calling up the tool, you have the choice of resetting the window layout to the state immediately after the last app start (Ctrl + D) or after a new installation (Ctrl + Shift + D). In the latter case, it is necessary to close and reopen the program, whereby you can close the program immediately via another dialog (and then restart it manually) or you can do this yourself at a later time.
