The default settings of the arrangement of the windows of ALLPLAN Civil is as follows:
Actionbar: always docked to the top of the working area
Project navigation window: docked to the left edge of the working area
Property window: docked to the right edge of the working area
View windows: tabbed
Logging window: docked to the bottom edge of the working area and automatically shown/hidden
To adapt the arrangement of a window
Hint: If the window is docked, you can also do this by using the arrow and pushpin icon respectively.
Options of arrangement
Float
Move the window by drag & drop to any position.
Dock
Dock the window by drag & drop to a certain position in the working area. Click the title bar of a window and drag it to one of the arrows displayed in the working area.
Dock As Tabbed Document
Tab the window to the top left edge of the free working area.
Auto Hide
Activate/deactivate this additional option for docked windows to automatically show and hide them.
Note: To be able to open the context menu for docked windows, you must first deactivate the option Auto Hide.
Note: The two tabs of the Project Navigation window Geometry and Analysis can be used as separate windows.
