Import from Bimplus

To import a terrain model from Bimplus

1. First, log in to Bimplus using the respective menu in the title bar and then choose the wished Bimplus project which contains the terrain model in the same menu.

   If an appropriate terrain model is detected in the selected model, the item Import terrain to becomes active in the same menu.

2. Move the mouse to this menu item and, from the opening submenu, select the wished terrain model already created in ALLPLAN Civil to which the surface should be added.

   Note: If no terrain model exists in ALLPLAN Civil yet, the item “Terrain 1” appears in the submenu to automatically create a terrain model with this name.

3. In the opening input window, perform the following definitions.

General

Name

Name of the surface

Terrain

Name of the corresponding terrain model [informatively]

Bimplus

Object

Select the wished surface from the surfaces available in the Bimplus project from the drop-down menu.

Model

Display of the Bimplus model [informatively]

Skip update on recalculation (checkbox)

Select, if the surface should be updated on each recalculation of the model in ALLPLAN Civil or not.

File

Name

File name of the surface which is also saved locally.
