Reports

The task Reports allows for creating user-defined reports of results of all types from the static calculation in Word format.

After installing an add-in which comes with the version of ALLPLAN Civil (see below), a new tab with the respective tools is available in Word.

Export

Using the tool Export numerical data to report database, particular result data from the calculation can be exported to the database for creating reports in numerical form after selecting the respective checkboxes. These can then tabularly be displayed in the Word add-in using the tool Insert table from database.

Using the respective checkboxes, the wished result types (from the menu Results) to be exported can be selected. At this, regarding the result types Loads, 2D-Diagrams and 3D-Diagrams, only the results selected in the respective menus (activated checkboxes) are exported, regarding the result type Tables, only the most recently displayed result.

Open an existing report

Open an already existing report in Word.

Reports directly saved at the level of the project directory are displayed for selecting and can be opened by double-clicking (or by clicking the edit symbol).

Open Word with an empty document for creating a new report

Add-in

Install add-in / Perform update

By clicking this button, the Word add-in coming with the version of ALLPLAN Civil is installed.

If there already is an add-in installed, an update can be performed by using the same button.

Add-in Options

Load add-in on Word startup

Select, if the installed add-in should automatically be loaded when starting Word (is only displayed after installing the add-in).

Uninstall

Uninstall the add-in already installed in Word (is only displayed after installing the add-in).

Install / Install different version

Install a particular version.

After clicking the button Install different version (only displayed after installing an add-in), the available versions are displayed, which can be installed by clicking their respective Install-buttons.

If there is no version installed yet, using the option (only then displayed) Install latest version, the latest version can automatically be selected. Otherwise, after clicking the button Install, the available versions are displayed, which can be installed by clicking their respective Install-buttons.
