TCL Command TASK EIGEN

Description

The eigenvalues and modes of the active structure are calculated. The eigenmodes are stored under the specified name and can be output graphically and numerically.

Arguments

The basic arguments correspond to those of all tasks (cf. TCL Command TASK). The other arguments are to be entered in the form "key=value".

There are the following additional specific predefined arguments, cf. UI-input of EIGEN:

lcsum	lcname	TEXT	Name of the load sum (currently not used); The active structure at the time of execution is used for the calculation.
nmode	nmo	INT	Number of the eigenvectors to be calculated
naddv	nav	INT	Number of additional iteration vectors

xlsout	xlsfile	TEXT	Output file (natural frequencies and mass participation)

40 eigenmodes are calculated. 10 additional iteration vectors improve the convergence behavior.
