Multiply copy a certain prism to various positions

Depending on the type of definition of the prism to be copied which is automatically detected by the program, there are different respective input procedures. Moreover, when copying a prism, certain parameters can be modified, depending on the type of definition.

The transformations of the prism defined automatically and by the user can optionally be taken over when copying. The settings for the Position/Orientation defined in the property window of the prism are always taken over. Also, all docking points are taken over.

Boolean operations with other prisms defined for the prism are not considered when copying.

To multiply copy a pier to various positions

1. Click on Multiple Copy / Prism.
2. Click the prism you want to copy in the view window of the 3D model.
3. Optionally, edit the name via the Prefix and a number for the Postfix and the Postfix step of the prism in the opening window.

   Note: The name results from prefix & postfix, whereby the postfix is increased by the postfix step for all further names.

4. In the same window, select by the checkbox Transformations, if those should also be taken over for the copied prisms from the prism to be copied.
5. Confirm the input with OK.
6. Define the wished Geometric Position 1 and, if applicable, the Geometric Position 2 of the prism depending on the definitions of the prism to be copied (see options in the Property window) by following the instructions.
7. Repeat step 6 to copy the selected prism once again, or quit the tool with ESC.
