Create a structural member of the type “link girder” on the basis of a respective existing template (see Template / Link girder)
You can create an arbitrary number of link girders from one particular link girder template at different positions which are all linked to the same template.
To create a new link girder from a template
Note: You can also directly drag & drop the wished link girder template from the project navigation tree into the view window.
A new link girder is created in the menu Link girders in the project navigation tree.
The link girder is now also displayed at the cursor position in the view window of the 3D model.
Note: Select the wished type of definition (Reference point / Docking point / Relative distance / Absolute height) in the Property window:

1. Move the mouse in the direction of the axis of the link girder in the View window to specify the wished distance related to the previously selected first position (GP1). Confirm it with a mouse click.
2. Move the mouse in the direction of the axis of the link girder in the View window to specify the wished distance related to the previously selected second position (GP2). Confirm it with a mouse click.
Note: The stations are always taken from the template - see Template for further information to this.
