Parameters for automatic placement

Automatic depth placement places the bending shapes of the component in the view created. Placement is based on the parameters in the dialog box.

The following parameters are available:

From depth / To depth: Define the placing region. Enter the absolute 3D coordinates or select the coordinates in the list box.
As an alternative, you can also right-click points on the outline to define the start and end of the placement. When you select the Custom depth option on the shortcut menu, you can define the placing region by clicking any points.
The placing region defined is visible on the screen. If the points clicked produce a From depth value that is greater than the To depth value, the two values will be interchanged.

Inclined placing line: If this option is selected, the program uses the points clicked as the start and end of the placement. If this option is not selected, the program drops a perpendicular from the points clicked to the placing line. You get this placing line after you have placed the secondary wall reinforcement.
After you have selected this option and clicked a point, the program always uses the last points clicked. When you enter values instead of clicking points, the program moves the placing region in the direction of the placing line. You get this placing line after you have placed the secondary wall reinforcement.

Length / Bar spacing / Offset to region: You can see the values for a continuous placing region. These values are based on the reinforcement parameters defined. You can insert and edit more regions.

• Click the length and enter the value for the first region.
  Click the length of the last region again and enter a smaller value if you want to insert more regions after the last region, or
  Right-click one of the values and insert a new region of the length 0.00 before the selected region.
• Click the values (Length, Bar spacing, and Offset to region) and change them.
  By changing the length, you change the length of the following region. By increasing the length of the last region, you reduce the length of the previous region. By reducing the length of the last region, you automatically insert a new region.

  When creating a placement that consists of at least three regions, you can define fixed length values for the first region and the final region as described below:

  1. Click the length calculated for the entire placing region and enter the length of the first region.

     The program creates a second region of the residual placing length while taking the spacing between regions into account.

  2. If necessary, change this spacing, click the length of the second region and enter the length of the final region.

     The program creates a third region of the residual placing length while taking the spacing between regions into account. Now the second region is as long as the final region.

  3. If necessary, modify the spacing and change the length of the second (penultimate) region to the length of the final region.
     

  Note: If you wish to change the length of the final region later, you need to alter the length of the penultimate region accordingly.

Use the shortcut menu to delete regions. The length of the deleted region will be added to the following region. By deleting the last region, you increase the length of the previous region.
