Change the path setting for project resources

Using project resources

Project resources are data (patterns or hatching styles, for example) used by the program. Resources used in drawing files can be saved either in the relevant project (= project-specific) or in the office standard (= office-specific).

To change the path for project resources

1. Click Project and Resource Administration (How).

   The Allplan Exchange dialog box Project and Resource Administration dialog box opens.

2. Right-click the project for which you want to change the path setting, and click Properties on the shortcut menu.
3. Make changes in the Path Settings area or on the Settings tab.

Notes:

• When you switch from project-specific to office-specific: any changes you have made to the resources in the project in the meantime are lost.
• When you switch from office-specific to project-specific: When you select Project, a copy of the office standard will be created in the project, or click and then select the project whose project resources you want to use.
• If you Project and Resource Administration dialog box want to subsequently change the project from which the project resources are to be matched to an existing project with the path set to Project, you must first change from Projects to Office and then confirm the note and the dialog box. Then switch back to project and use to select the desired project.
