Importing project back-ups directly to Allplan

Working with Projects / Tool Project and Resource Administration

To import a project saved as a ZIP file directly to Allplan

1. Click Project and Resource Administration (How).
   

   Activate Project and Resource Management in one of the following ways:

   • Menu bar: File

   • Keyboard: Ctrl+Shift+O

   • Title bar: Allplan icon
   • Title bar: Quick Access Toolbar
   • Shortcut menu: Hovering over the empty workspace Right mouse button

   The Allplan Exchange dialog box Project and Resource Administration dialog box opens.

2. Drag the compressed project (*.zip) from the desktop or File Explorer into the area where the projects are listed in Project and Resource Administration dialog box.
3. When in the New Project dialog box, change the location and/or project name if required, then confirm with OK.

   Allplan unzips the project, adding it to the project list.
