New Project, Open Project dialog box

Project name

The name of the new project.

See the notes on characters you can use in project names.

Folder for saving

Projects can be created or saved in the following locations:

• localhost
  On the local workstation within the central file storage folder.
• Data server in workgroup environment
  In a workgroup environment on the data server, on which the central file storage folder is located. The prerequisite here is that the workgroup manager is activated.
• BIMPLUS
  On the openBIM platform Allplan Bimplus, on which a new project should be created as a Allplan Share project. In this case, you also select the team and the Bimplus model name (see below).
  
  Note: In order to be able to Allplan Bimplus create a new project, you must be logged into the Allplan web services and have the corresponding rights for the intended Bimplus team (see "Creating Allplan Share projects").

Team

Only if BIMPLUS was selected as the location.

Select the Bimplus team that should edit the Allplan Share project.

Bimplus model name

Only if BIMPLUS was selected as the location.

Name under which the Allplan model should be entered into Bimplus project management.

Country-specific templates

In the list of countries, select the country for which the available project templates should be offered (only possible if several country options have licenses) and select the desired project template. Select No project template to create a project without a template.
