Labeling contour lines

Tool(s): Label Triangles, Contours, Points

You can use this tool to label the points of intersection between contour lines and a DTM with a contour gradient.

To label the contour lines in a DTM

1. Click Label Triangles, Contours, Points (How).
   

   Activate Label Triangles, Contours, Points in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Rol Surroundings Tarea Terreno Grupo de herramientas Modelo del terreno

   • Menu bar: Create Terrain Digital Terrain Model

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Digital Terrain Model

2. Click Cont in the input options.
3. Click the DTM to be labeled.
4. Place the start and end points of the contour gradient.

Note: The settings made in the Options apply to the contour line label.
