Examples of American units

Allplan always converts the values you enter to [mm] for internal calculations. But the values you get in the end are in the unit you set. You cannot find the "-" sign in results, because this sign is used as an operator.
0' and 0'' are not output. The unit is only output when you work with feet and inches.

When working with inches or feet and inches, you can define the format of the fraction (fraction, decimal, fraction or decimal). You can define the precision for the fraction and fraction or decimal formats.
Values you enter in feet are always output as decimals. The same applies to all metric units.
