Slope

Grupo de herramientas Terrain Model

You can use this tool to draw slopes by entering the outline of the area to slope, or the edge of the slope and then its angle. You can define sloping areas with different angles of inclination.

To apply a slope

  1. Click Slope (How).
  2. Click the DTM in which the slope is to be drawn.
  3. In the input options, click Surfac to enter the surface outline of the slope or Edge to enter the edge of the slope.
  4. Enter the height of the horizon for the edge of the slope (does not apply in Surfac mode).
  5. Define parameters for the slope on the context toolbar.
  6. Enter the area to which you want to apply the slope defined on the context toolbar.
If you confirm the default, the slope will be created using the set value.
  7. If you want to create several sloping areas with different angles, specify in the input options whether the change in angle is to be abrupt (‘Skew’ set to off) or not.

Example of slope

Note: You can specify whether the slope area and slope edge will be created as polygons in the Options.

Note: After applying the slope, Allplan keeps the mesh of the original model as far as the slope edges, thus preventing cutaways that might falsify cut and fill calculations. However, the Mesh, Optimize Grid tool cancels this effect.
