Flush Pier

You can use this tool to insert flush piers in walls.

To create a flush pier

1. Click Flush Pier (How).
   

   Activate Flush Pier in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Rol Arquitectura Tarea Elementos Grupo de herramientas Components

   • Menu bar: Create Architecture Special: Walls, Openings, Components

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Special: Walls, Openings, Components

2. Define the flush pier's anchor point.
   

   In the icon, click to place the transport point.

   The following options are available:

   

   

   

   With openings (for instance doors and windows) only the following options are available:

   

3. Click the wall in which you want to place the pier. The system will automatically display the offset between the point you clicked and the nearest reference point (represented by a small arrow). You can accept or change this value. Press ENTER to confirm this value.
4. If you want, you can now modify the parameters.
   The context toolbar provides several options.
   

   • Haz clic en Propiedades para configurar los parámetros en el cuadro de diálogo.
   • Haz clic en Adoptar propiedades para copiar los parámetros desde un elemento existente.
   • Haz clic en Cargar favorito para seleccionar las combinaciones de parámetros guardadas.

Note: Flush piers always have the full width of the wall in which they are placed.

Note: In the case of walls with multiple construction layers, the piers traverse all the layers. You can delete the pier from the construction layers in which it is not required.
