Pen thickness, line types and colors on the Format QuickSelect toolbar

Using pen thickness

The Format QuickSelect toolbar includes four settings for pen thickness, line type and color each. Using this toolbar, you can select a setting quickly and easily. You can choose which settings are presented for selection on this toolbar. This description shows how to select pens. If you want to select line types or colors, proceed as you would when selecting pens.

To define which pens are presented for selection on the Format QuickSelect toolbar

1. Click Defaults (How).

2. The Defaults dialog box opens. Click Pen Thickness + Format QuickSelect.

   The warning You are modifying pen settings in the office path indicates that changing the pen thickness will change the office standard.

3. Go to the Pens for Format QuickSelect area and define which of the 15 pens are to be presented on the Format QuickSelect toolbar.

   After you have selected a pen, the program rearranges the order in which they appear so that they are sorted by pen thickness.
