Controlling the view by using the mouse

To use the mouse in design mode

1. Check whether Design mode is selected in the relevant viewport.

   Have a look at the viewport toolbar: Design mode must be selected here as / / Navigation mode.

   Alternatively, if Crosshairs Display is selected:

   Hover over the relevant viewport.
   If the crosshairs appear, Design mode is selected.

2. Now you have the following options:
   • You can pan by selecting and holding the middle mouse button.
   • Turn the mouse wheel to enlarge or reduce the area around the cursor.
   • If you want to zoom in on a section, select and hold the right mouse button while enclosing the section in a selection rectangle.
   • Double-click the middle mouse button to display the entire design.

     Note: You can make different settings for the functions of the mouse buttons in the Options on the Mouse and crosshairs page.
