Allplan 2021 provides tools for splitting and joining reinforcing bars. For example, this is useful for inserting or moving openings or for considering concreting sections.

In addition, the functionality for placing reinforcement along one and more paths has been optimized: You can now define negative concrete covers, negative projections, and offsets to the starting and end edges of the placing regions. So, you can control the arrangement of reinforcement in challenging situations even more precisely.

You can now apply the “Fold Line” tool to area reinforcement and placements in polygon. By means of the clipboard or library, you can efficiently reuse complete reinforcement layouts. And when rearranging marks, you can now work with tolerances. This combines similar bending shapes and enhances the clarity of steel lists and construction-site logistics.
