"Label" palette

Palettes: Generate View / Modify View + Generate Section / Modify Section

You can open the Label palette while creating or modifying a view or section. Click the Label button (in the Representation area) in the Generate (Modify) View / Generate (Modify) Section palette.

There are two ways to create a view or section:

• Use Open on a Project-Specific Basis (How) - Building structure tab - Derived from building structure area.
  

  Activate / Open on a Project-Specific Basis... in one of the following ways

  • Menu bar: File

  • Keyboard: Alt+O

  • Title bar: Quick Access Toolbar
• Use Create View (How) or Create Section (How).
  

  Activate Create Section in one of the following ways

  • Actionbar:Role Architecture Task Elements Task area Sections

  • Menu bar: Create Views, Sections, Details Views and Sections

  • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

  Views and Sections

  

  Activate Create View in one of the following ways

  • Actionbar:Role Architecture Task Elements Task area Sections

  • Menu bar: Create Views, Sections, Details Views and Sections

  • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

  Views and Sections

To modify a view or section, use the Modify View, Section tool (How).

Activate Modify View, Section in one of the following ways

• Actionbar:Role Architecture Task Elements Task area Sections

• Menu bar: Change Views, Sections, Details Views and Sections

• Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

Views and Sections

Heading

Heading

Select this option to add Additional text to the heading of the view or section. You can enter text for the heading of the view or section or select the text in the list box. This heading precedes the name of the view or section and appears centered above the view or section.
Click to delete the Additional text from the heading.

If you do not want to include the Projection of the view or the Section identifier of the section in the heading, turn off the corresponding option. You can use the Additional text to give the view or section any name.

Text parameters - Set

You can define the text parameters for the name of the view or section (font, size and so on). The name appears centered above the view or section.

Scale

Scale

Select this option to display the scale of the view or section. The scale appears centered above the view or section below the name of the view or section.

Define the Text parameters of the label by clicking the Set button.

Reinforcement

Dimension line, label

When you create reinforcement views, you can select this option to consider the labeling defaults defined in the Options.

Placement display

When you create reinforcement views, you can select this option to consider the defaults defined in the Options.
