Task area Bar Reinforcement

You can use this tool to place bar reinforcement as a linear placement along a placing line or segment or as a single placement. Define the parameters in the palette. You can select the marks either by clicking them or by entering their numbers.

What do you want to do?

Place a bending shape using automatic depth placement

Place a bending shape as a linear placement

Place a bending shape as a single placement

Whereas placing the mesh shape completes the single placement, you can change the parameters of a linear placement at any time before you create the final placement in one of the following ways:

• Press ESC to create an additional placement of the selected mark. Please note that the Align setting is always based on the first bar you selected when you activated this tool and not on the placement created last.
• Press ESC twice to place another mark using the Place Bar Shape tool or to create a new Bar Shape after you have placed the dimension line and label.
  If you do not want to place or create another mark, press ESC again or select a different tool.
• Select a tool on the shortcut menu. Please note that the shortcut menu only presents tools that are consistent with the work flow.
  You can create a Bar Shape, / place the selected mark or dimension and label the placements created.
  
  

  You can place bar reinforcement in edge-based and bar-based mode using the Place Bar Shape tool.

  You can place bar reinforcement in polygon, rotation and view using the Special Placements tool.

Note: You can use Match parameters to match the parameters of a different placement. You can use Save as a favorite to save the settings. With Load favorite, you can read the settings back into the palette, where you can then modify them. Click Favorite QuickSelect to select from the five favorites you have used most recently.
