Define Areas

You can use this tool to define the surfaces enveloping a building. You can assign components you have already defined and attributes, such as inclination or orientation, to these surfaces.

Calculate Thermal Insulation

You can use this tool to transfer all defined surfaces to the special software program for thermal insulation calculations.

Label

You can use this tool to label envelope surfaces you have already defined. You can customize the label contents to your needs.

Thermal Insulation Reports

You can use this tool to create a report for the defined surfaces. Using the large number of reports provided, you can output the surfaces according to different criteria.

Reports are used for analyzing data in Allplan. They are saved as templates in RDLC format.

Reports can be printed, placed as PDF files in documents and exported to Excel and other formats.
You can change the layout of reports and save the result as a new template.

Legend

You can use this tool to include the defined surfaces in a legend. Using the large number of legends provided, you can output the surfaces according to different criteria.

Modify Surfaces

You can use this tool to modify the attributes of envelope surfaces you have already defined.

Modify Orientation

You can use this tool to modify the orientation of one or several envelope surfaces in one go.

Update U-Value

You can use this tool to update the u-values of all the envelope surfaces in the active drawing files or in the NDW file. Allplan reads the u-values from the thermal insulation program and writes them to the existing envelope surfaces.
