Update U-Value

Task area Thermal Insulation

You can use this tool to update the u-values of all the envelope surfaces in the active drawing files or in the NDW file. Allplan reads the u-values from the thermal insulation program and writes them to the existing envelope surfaces.

To update the u-values

• Click Update U-Value (How).
  

  Activate Update U-Value in one of the following ways

  • Actionbar:Role Architecture Task Energy Task area Thermal Insulation

  • Menu bar: Change Energy Thermal Insulation

  • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

  Thermal Insulation

  The thermal insulation program starts, updating the u-values of all the areas to which you have assigned components from the catalog.
