Modify Attributes
Surface object, parameters and attributes + Line object, parameters and attributes + Modify Attributes + Transfer Attributes
You can use the Modify Attributes dialog box to assign attributes and attribute values to objects or to modify these attributes and attribute values.
You have the following options:
- Buttons in the top border of the dialog box:
Expand selected entries
You can use this button to expand the attributes displayed. You can see all attributes of the selected node. If you have not selected anything, you can see all attributes.
Collapse all entries
You can use this button to reduce the number of attributes displayed. As a result, Allplan only displays the top levels and nodes of the hierarchy.
Show, hide fixed geometric attributes
You can use this button to hide the geometric attributes such as length, width, height, area and so on.
Show, hide Allplan default attributes
You can use this button to hide the Allplan default attributes such as code text, enclosure type, text 1-5 and so on.
Assign new attribute
- Column on the left:
Use the check box to define which attribute you want to assign, transfer or use for the label. Only available for the Label, Transfer Attributes and Assign Attributes to Elements tools - Column in the middle:
You can see the attribute type and its format (as an icon) are displayed.
Right-click in this column to open a shortcut menu, where you can choose between Assign new attribute and (DEL key) or Back 'Remove attribute' (DEL key again). - Column on the right:
Enter the attribute value. Allplan then analyzes the data based on the attribute type. - Arrow buttons in the bottom border of the dialog box:
You can change the sequence of the attributes in the list; the program takes this change into account when creating the label.
Moves the selected attribute to the top
Moves the selected attribute to the bottom
Moves the selected attribute up a line
Moves the selected attribute down a line
Note: You can use
Save as a favorite to save the attributes specified and
Load favorite to read the attributes back into the dialog box. This way, you can save all attribute assignments as favorite files and retrieve (and modify) them whenever you need.
