Allplan update
You can configure Allplan to automatically download and install updates (hotfixes and service releases).
If Workgroup Manager is installed, the Allplan administrator can lock this, preventing normal users from downloading updates. But the Allplan administrator can distribute updates to all the computers within the workgroup, thus allowing the users to install them. This ensures that all the users of the workgroup run the same version of Allplan.
Notes
- An anti-virus program or firewall software installed on your computer can prevent the download or installation of update packages. You may need to configure these programs so that they do not block these operations.
- If your computer is connected to the Internet using a proxy server, files that are important for automatic updates may be stored temporarily. As a result, the program may not find the latest version of theses files while downloading. Consequently, the automatic update will not work. To prevent this, you need to exclude the website (from which automatic updates are downloaded) from buffering. You can find the address of this website in the \Etc\AutoUpdate.cfg file.
