Placing plants in an area + Modifying landscaping elements

The serial number of the plant is displayed. Every plant is defined in a separate line.
Note: For the placement label, the plant with the number 1 is used. But the plant schedules list all the plants.

Description

Click in the Name column to select the desired plant from the catalog and define its attributes.

Number

Click in the Number column to enter the spacing between the plants, the number of plants per square meter or the total number of plants.

Plants

When a linear placement is modified, the total number of plants placed is displayed here.

Plant qualities

If available, the quality of the plant selected above is displayed here.

Catalog assignment

This is where you can switch to another plant catalog.

Border

You can enter a depth of the border which is to be applied to the surface element.

Height, Height setup

Click Height to define the height of the placement.

Surface elements

You can specify whether a surface element is to be applied to the placement and select the relevant surface element. Hatching styles and patterns can be combined with fills.

Hatching

To assign a hatching style, click the box next to Hatching and assign a style.
If a background color is to be applied to the hatching, click the box next to Fill and select a color.

To disable hatching, deactivate the Hatching check box.

Pattern

To assign a pattern, click the box next to Pattern and select a style.
If a background color is to be applied to the pattern, click the box next to Fill and select a color.

To disable the pattern, disable the check box next to Pattern.

Fill

To assign a fill, click the box next to Fill and select a color.
In addition to a fill, you can also select a hatching style or pattern; the pattern is then used for thebackground color.

To disable the fill, deactivate the Fill check box.

Bitmap Area

To assign a bitmap area, click the box beside Bitmap area and select a file.

To disable the bitmap area, deactivate the Bitmap area check box.

Style Area

To assign an area style, click the box beside Area style and select a style.

Area styles must already be defined.

To disable the area style, deactivate the Area style check box.

Surface (animation)

You can assign custom surfaces to placements of plants. You can also modify surfaces you have already assigned. These surfaces appear in viewports with the Animation view type (and in the Animation module).
