The Formula Definition dialog box is used to define mathematical formulas and conditions. Calculations performed in this dialog box yield results in the form of values or text.

References

<COLUMN> refers to an entry in a different cell.

<SUM> totals all the column entries.

<ATTRIBUTE> determines information on any attributes.

Some examples:

'(COLUMN3*COLUMN4)/100'

multiplies the entry in column 3 by the entry in column 4 and divides the result by 100.

‘TOTAL(COLUMN5)’

totals the results of column 5.

‘HEIGHT*LENGTH’

yields the product of the height and length.
