Example: specifying the height of boxes or cylinders positioned freely in space

Tool(s): Box positioned freely in space + Cylinder positioned freely in space

When you click an undefined point while entering the height of a box or cylinder positioned freely in space, you can specify the height in the dialog line by entering a positive or negative value. A positive value points in the direction of the user; a negative value points in the opposite direction.

The manner in which the direction is interpreted depends on the projection of the window which is active when you design the box; in this example, it is the front right isometric view:

1 = "visible plane"

Note: If the system cannot define the height unambiguously, it will prompt you to enter a direction point.
