Position of anchor point in component

Tool(s): Exporting routes

In addition to defining the drop-in point in Allplan, you define an anchor point within the component in the bridge and civil engineering modeler. This anchor point helps you position the 3D route model exactly in Allplan.

To define the position of the anchor point in the cross-section, select the reference point and enter values defining the dx, dy and dz offsets to this reference point. You can choose one of the following three positions for the reference point:

When placing the component, the program takes into account the offset you defined in Allplan using (provided you selected the Consider Allplan offset when exporting routes option). You can enter this offset in the project properties.
With the Delta point and Polar coordinates settings, the program does not take the offset into account even though you have selected the Consider Allplan offset when exporting routes option. Instead, the program always places the component at the current position of the cursor.

Note: When exporting routes, the program does not take into account the offset defined in the bridge and civil engineering modeler. In other words, it always exports the original route of the global coordinate system.
