Placing in rotation

To place bars along a circular placing line
- Click
Place (How). - Select the mark to be placed by clicking a reinforcing bar or placed reinforcement. Alternatively, enter its mark number in the dialog line.
- Set the placing mode to
Place in Rotation and click OK to confirm. - If Reinforce with 3D model is not active, the view of the bending shape to be placed relative to the placing arc needs to be defined. Various are provided in the input options to help you define the line for the viewing direction.
- Enter a placing arc to define the placing area. Three methods are provided:
- Click Circle to define the placing arc based on a center point and radius. The circle generated initially can then be reduced to an arc by setting a point and entering the included angle.
- Click 2-Pt to define the path of the placing arc based on the diameter given by two points you set. The circle generated initially can then be reduced to an arc by setting a point and entering the included angle.
- Click 3-Pt. The first two points you set define the location of the circular path.
- If Reinforce with 3D model is active and views do not exist, you only need to define the view of the bending shape once. Alternatively, click a view if there is one.
- Specify the mark's position for the placement. The following options are provided:
- Inside to place the reinforcement within the placing arc.
- Middle to place the reinforcement so that it is centered on the placing arc.
- Outside to place the reinforcement outside the placing arc.
- Align (only available when Reinforce with 3D model is active) to adopt the basic orientation in space of the identified mark and to place the reinforcement in direct alignment.
- Adjust the parameters for the position of the mark and click OK to confirm the settings.
- Select the placing parameters.
Note: When placing in series, you cannot modify the defined placement region.
- Click OK to confirm the settings. The placement is created.
- Select the dimension line type in the list box at the top of the palette, specify the general parameters of the dimension line for the Dimension line type or the text parameters and format properties of the for the Mark symbols type, and place the dimension line or the mark number.

Skip dimensioning by pressing ESC. - Select the Automatic mark number option in the input options if the program is to create the mark number at the beginning or end of the label depending on the drop-in point specified and define the
Anchor point of the label, if necessary. - Specify the label parameters and place the placement label. You can define the text angle in advance.

Skip labeling by pressing ESC. - When you have configured Allplan to create a layer symbol (
Options, Reinforcement - Label page) and you have not yet placed this symbol along with the label, you can now select a Layer symbol in the Leader area of the palette and click the drop-in point or a bar segment.
