Modify a Cutaway

To add a cutaway

1. Click Cutaway (How).
   

   Activate Cutaway in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Terrain Digital Terrain Model

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Digital Terrain Model

   • Configuration: Landscaping/Urban Planning Digital Terrain Model flyout
2. Click the DTM in which you want to modify a cutaway.
3. Click Mod provided in the Input options.
4. Click a boundary point or boundary line.
   Clicking a boundary line will cause it to “explode.“
5. Place the end point. New lines generated by this operation must not intersect.
