Adding an exterior boundary

To add an exterior boundary
- Click
Exterior Boundary (How). - Click the DTM for which you want to create an exterior boundary.
- Click New in the input options.
- Click a grid point or an element on which the grid points are located, and enter the exterior boundary using the polyline entry tools.

Notes:
- Exterior boundaries must have at least four points.
- There can only be one exterior boundary per DTM.
- The exterior boundary must not lie in a cutaway.
- If new grid lines are generated by the exterior boundary, the new mesh may cause existing contour lines and elevation points to change. In the same way, this might cause them to disappear, in which case you need to create them again manually after deleting the boundary.
