Design configuration entry

Configuration(s): double wall: entry

Initial values for wall element design.

'Parameters' tab

A double wall consists of two leaves: visible applies normally to the first leaf, hidden to the second leaf. The visible leaf is indicated by the triangle symbol.
The invisible leaf is always the ”girder shell”; in other words, the leaf to which the girders are applied. As this leaf has to be produced first; it is often referred to as LEAF 1.

Plate thickness visible/invisible:

[m] Leaf thickness for double walls; initial values for the default prompt.

Shortening BL visible/invisible:

[m] Initial values for the shortening of the leaves to form the architectural wall.

Concrete grade visible/invisible:

Preset concrete grades for the design. The list box includes all the entries that are defined in the concrete grade catalog and assigned to the current factory.

Exposition class visible / invisible:

Preset for the exposition class.
As specified in DIN 1045-1, section 4.2.1 (3), the exposition class must be included in reinforcement drawings. For example, cement formulation, minimum concrete cover and minimum concrete strength grade etc. depend on the exposition class.

Surface visible/invisible:

Enter the text describing the concrete surface finish that is entered as an initial value when the module opens.

Additional text for mark number:

Complementary text for mark number.

'Formwork attributes' tab

Visible / hidden leaf:

No chamfer / Chamfer / Special formwork

You can define the default formwork attributes for the different panel edges. Separate settings can be made for the visible and hidden sides. When designing, you can select more attributes in the Design Mode dialog box; all the attributes can be combined as desired.

'Special formwork' tab

Special formwork for wall chases:

This option is relevant to the Unitechnik interface.
You can specify whether special formwork is to be applied to panel edges of wall chases when the chase value specified cannot be met.

'Marks' tab

Assignment of marks:

Specify which mark numbers are assigned to precast elements when they are created. Elements that are modified later are also given the mark numbers specified here. This also applies if you have rearranged the elements manually using the Modify Mark Number tool in the meantime.

Zero: the elements are initially assigned the mark number zero and will be rearranged manually later.

Ascending: the elements are assigned numbers in ascending order.

Identical: while creating elements, the program automatically performs various checks based on the following criteria:
