Mesh calculation

Configuration(s): half floor: calculation + hollow core element: calculation + solid floor: calculation + TT slab: calculation

The following parameters area available for the first and second meshes from the reinforcement types:

'First/second mesh 1' tab and configuration entry

Overlap in longitudinal direction:

as entered: the overlaps defined for the room edges are used.

use SetValue: the following fixed value is used.

% of the panel length: the overlap is calculated as a percentage of the panel length.

fixed length: the length of the mesh is fixed. The bar overlap is produced within the panel length.

Overlap in transverse direction:

as entered: the overlaps defined for the room edges are used.

use SetValue: the following fixed value is used.

Overlap on sloping edges:

as entered: the overlaps defined for the room edges are used.

use SetValue: the following fixed value is used.

a: inclined edges at less than 45° as longitudinal, otherwise as transverse direction.

b: as entered in longitudinal direction

c: as fixed value in longitudinal direction

d: as % of the panel length

e: as fixed length in longitudinal direction

f: as entered in transverse direction

g: as fixed value in transverse direction

'First/second mesh 2' tab and configuration entry

Rounding:

Don't: no rounding of mesh dimensions.

Exact: 1-4 = rounded down, 5-9 = rounded up

Round up: mesh dimensions are rounded up to the value given in "Rounding value".

Round down: mesh dimensions are rounded down to the value given in "Rounding value".

Rounding value longit./ transv.:

[m] Rounding values for the above types of rounding.

Overlap:

LFix+QFix: overlap fixed in longitudinal and transverse directions:

LFix+QKat: overlap fixed in longitudinal direction, mesh width taken from catalog.

LKat+QFix: overlap fixed in longitudinal direction, mesh length taken from catalog.

LKat+QKat: mesh length and width taken from catalog.

SetValue longit. /transv.:

[m] Fixed values for the above setting.

Cut mesh with exterior outline of panel:

Yes: every panel is designed individually with the mesh. The mesh is cut depending on the geometry of the panel.

No: every panel is designed individually with the mesh. The mesh is not cut; the minimum dimensions are used to create it. Thus, the mesh can also be partially outside the panel (e.g. in the case of inclined panel edges).

Minimum area for cut mesh:

Smaller pieces of mesh are omitted.

Mesh placed centrally in the panel: (not available with TT slabs)

Mesh is always placed in the center of the panel in the direction of span, even when the panel is longer. The remainder must be reinforced with bars.
