'Automatic updates' tab

Auto-update precast wall elements when the architecture changes:

You can control how precast wall elements are automatically updated as follows:

No: precast wall elements do not update automatically to reflect changes. You need to do this manually using Restore 3D View.
This setting is only useful with large projects and/or slow computers.

Step by step: precast wall elements update every time you click (for example, when you draw an upstand later).
Although this process can take some time depending on the performance of the computer and the size of the project, you can undo each step.

When finished: precast wall elements do not update until you quit the current tool (for example, Upstand, Window, ...). Please note that this operation can only be undone in its entirety and animated sequences may not be visible immediately.

Reinforce when finished: precast wall elements are redesigned immediately (for animation purposes, for example) but the reinforcement does not update until you quit the current tool (for example, Upstand, Window, ...).

Cut secondary reinforcement with precast elements when there are changes:

If this check box is selected, secondary reinforcement is cut with the precast elements when there are changes.

Update reinforcement when fixtures and smart symbols are added and modified later:

If this check box is selected, basic reinforcement updates automatically when you add or modify fixtures and smart symbols (analogous to openings). If this check box is not selected, the fixture and/or smart symbol is not taken into account until the basic reinforcement is created again.
For this, however, your license must include the option to cut reinforcement and the Intersect bars or lattice girders option(s) must be selected for the respective fixture in the fixture catalog.

'Notes' tab

In conjunction with status administration, you can specify the text that replaces the mark number if a precast element is illegal. The text can have up to 9 characters. If you do not enter text, default strings are used for the individual states.

Automatic fixtures incorrect are fixtures that are created in the design calculation process (e.g. lifting bolts for hollow core element design mode).

Note: The Structural calculation incorrect and Automatic fixtures incorrect states are currently not analyzed by the program. The Attached reinforcement incorrect and Attached reinforcement with free bars states serve as additional identifiers of precast elements and cannot be used to define "valid" elements.

'Marking' tab

You can configure the program to mark slab elements of half floors until the shear value is calculated. In this case, the Shear force calculated check mark is removed from the precast element state.

Marking option:

No marking: elements are not marked.

Mark no. with -S-: -S- is added to the mark number.

Color: the boundaries of slab elements are displayed in the element detection color set in the Options on the Desktop environment - Display page, Display area.

Color+mark no. with -S-: the boundaries of slab elements are displayed in the element detection color set in the Options on the Desktop environment - Display page, Display area, and -S- is added to the mark number.

You can configure the program to mark wall elements of double walls if the design calculation process has produced a suitable lattice girder. There will be no marking if you explicitly omit the lattice girder.

Marking option:

No marking: elements are not highlighted.

Wall elements in selection color: the boundaries of wall elements are displayed in the element detection color set in the Options on the Desktop environment - Display page, Display area.

Mark no. in selection color: the mark numbers of wall elements are displayed in the element detection color set in the Options on the Desktop environment - Display page, Display area.

Wall elem.+mark no. in selection color: the boundaries and mark numbers of wall elements are displayed in the element detection color set in the Options on the Desktop environment - Display page, Display area.
