The IF generator is a project-oriented interface between the CAD system and the process control computer or the machine. Depending on the driver used, the data of a CAD project is translated into a format which can be processed by the process control computer or the machine.

Create data

Normally you only need to press F1 Start and the machine data is created. The panel data created is displayed on screen so that you can check the process. All you have to ensure if you use floppy disks is that you have inserted a formatted disk.

You can select a driver. You only need to configure the driver once.

Naming convention for drivers:

IFGxxxnn

xxx = 3 digits for driver type

nn = 2 digits for version number

S9 Explorer

The program automatically opens Windows Explorer and changes to the path set in the production data path configuration. To exit Windows Explorer, click Close on the File menu.
