Copying roof planes between documents

To copy roof planes between documents (using the architecture filter)

• The document with the roof planes is current.

1. Click Copy, Move Elements between Documents (How).
   

   Activate Copy/Move Elements between Documents in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: File

   • Toolbar: Special
2. In the Across documents dialog box, select the Copy option.
3. Select the drawing file to which you want to copy the roof planes.
4. Click Filter by Archit. Element Type and select the Roof frame option.
5. Click All in the Input Options or open a selection rectangle around the roof planes.

   Allplan copies the roof planes to the selected document.

6. Open the new document.

   The elements in the document immediately adapt to the roof planes.

7. If this is not so, select Restore 3D View (How).
   

   Activate Restore 3D View in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Architecture General: Roofs, Planes, Sections

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   General notes: Roofs, Planes, Sections

   Basic: Walls, Openings, Components

   Special: Walls, Openings, Components

   Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

   Stairs

   Frame Construction: Rafters, Roof Beams, Posts

   • Configuration: Architecture Architecture Edit flyout
   • Configuration: Landscaping/Urban Planning Modifications flyout
