If the weight or length of a stack exceeds the maximum specified for the truck, the program will issue an appropriate message and create a separate stack.Note: The shortcut menu of Stacking in the Left Bar also includes this tool.
- If necessary, select the new truck and click
Create New Stack in the toolbar or on the Edit menu.Note: The shortcut menus of Truck and Stacking (if you want to create a separate stack) in the Left Bar also include this tool.

- Click an element in plan view. The program places the panel on the current stack.
- Click more elements in plan view. The position of the elements depends on the function you have selected:
- If
Place Panel beside Panel is selected, the next element will be placed beside the selected stack element. - If
Place Panel behind Panel is selected, the next element will be placed behind the selected stack element. The program stacks from left to right.
When you select
Stack from Right to Left, the program starts from the right to place the next element. - If
Place Panel Freely is selected, the program displays a preview of the next element behind the selected stack element and you can specify the coordinates within the current stack level. - If
Place Panel Freely using Handles is selected, the program displays a preview of the next element behind the selected stack element and you can move the element within the current stack level in the XY Preview Bar. The preview appears beside the element edge you have crossed with the crosshairs. When you are satisfied with the position indicated by the preview, click to place the element in the workspace.
Note: This function is only available when the XY Preview Bar is displayed.. - When you have not selected one of the four functions listed above, the next element is placed in the next stack level.
- When
Rotate Panel is selected, the next element is turned clockwise through 90° or 180° and placed. You can specify this value using the input options.
- When the stack is full, you can create another stack using
Create New Stack.- When the previously created stack was intended for a truck and an element of this stack is active, the new stack is automatically created for the same truck.
- If you want to create the new stack for a different truck, you first need to select a truck or create a new truck using
Create New Truck. - If you do not want to create the new stack for a truck, select the Stacking entry in the Left Bar first.
Tip: The elements of the current stack can be selected in tree view or in all the other views. Clicking a stacked element in plan view automatically selects the corresponding stack.
