Group element manager

Tool(s): Structural Starter Bars

You can use the tools provided in the dialog box for management of group elements i.e. you can rename them or delete them from the group file.

To rename, copy or delete group elements

1. On the Structural Starter Bars Context toolbar, click Group Element Manager.
2. Enter the folder containing the group element file.
3. Specify whether you wish to edit files or individual connections.
4. Click the corresponding file and if necessary, the connections you want to rename, copy or delete.

   Note: You can change the reference scale in which connections are entered.

5. To rename the selected elements, click Rename and enter new names.
6. To copy the selected elements, click Copy, specify the target folder and file, click Run and enter new names, if necessary.
   If you clicked an existing entry, confirm that you wish to overwrite it when prompted.
7. To delete the selected elements, click Delete and confirm.
8. Click Close to quit the tool.
