Create Schema

Tool(s): Structural Starter Bars

To create a schema

1. On the Structural Starter Bars Context toolbar, click Schema.
2. Use the Input options to specify whether you wish to create a schema list (List) or a single schema (Single).
3. If you select List, you should then select the area containing the joined cages from which you wish to create a schema list. The schemas and their labels are attached to the cross-hair. You can change the drop-in point in the Input options. Place the list in the drawing as you want.
4. If you select Single, you should then click the reinforcement element from which you wish to create a schema. One after the other, the schema and its label are attached to the cross-hair. You can change the drop-in point in the Input options. Place them one after the other in a suitable position in the workspace.
5. Create another schema list or single schema or quit the tool by pressing ESC.
6. The schema can now be edited using the appropriate tools in the Bar Reinforcement module, which is part of the Engineering family.
