Modify Point Load

Tool(s): Modify Special Loads

You can use Modify Point Load to modify point loads.

To modify a point load

1. Click Modify Special Loads (How).
   

   Activate Modify Special Loads in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Precast Factories Precast Floor

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Precast Floor

2. Enable the required load case by clicking Define Load Case.
3. On the Modify Special Loads Context toolbar click Modify Point Load.
4. Change the parameters as required:

   Single load in Z direction

   

   Single load in Z direction

   This defines a concentrated, arbitrary single load P that is applied in the z direction.

   

   A Plane of the monitor

   B Single load PZ
   

   You enter the value of the single load at the keyboard. If the load is applied downwards, then no sign needs to be entered.

   When a point load, line load or area load acts on a roof element, you can define the load direction of a wind load here.

   Vertical to roof surface	At right angles to roof surface

   For more information on an attribute listed above, click it.

5. You can also use Match to read and copy the load entry from a single point.
6. Click the display of the point load to be modified. The display changes accordingly.
7. Click Cancel to finish.
