Element plan settings

Tool(s): Element Plan

Layout

You can select a predefined layout in the layout catalog. You can only use the entries that are assigned to the relevant precast element type.
If the selected layout cannot be used for the element clicked, there are different ways to proceed:

Page

You can specify the Page to be displayed for layouts that consist of several sheets (for example, to display shell and reinforcement on separate pages).
If several pages are defined for the selected layout, and take you from page to page. The display of the element changes automatically.

Scale

For a fixed sheet size, you can have the program calculate the scale automatically or you can also enter a fixed value.

Maximum size: the program automatically selects the scale that uses the workspace most efficiently, which means the scale that produces the largest possible representation of the elements. This, however, usually results in scales that are not commonly used in the building industry.

Automatic selection: the program selects the scale that suits best from the scales defined in the selected layout (the scale that produces the largest possible representation of the elements so that all the elements still fit on the selected sheet).

Locked: you can choose any scale for the element plan.

Sheet size

If you have opted for the automatic selection of the sheet size, this is displayed for information.
If you opted for a custom scale, the program selects the sheet size that suits best from a set of predefined sheet sizes. If possible, the program chooses the sheet size so that the drawing and the other layout elements do not overlap.
