Exporting bim+ data

You can use Export bim+ Data to create data for the bim+ platform. This cloud-based platform makes it possible to import BIM models of all common formats, store these models in the bim+ cloud and use mobile devices for access.

To export bim+ data

1. Click Open on a Project-Specific Basis. On the Building structure tab, select the structural levels and drawing files you want to export to the bim+ model. Then click Close.

   Allplan transfers all architectural elements and engineering elements in the drawing files, including all attributes.

2. Click Export bim+ Data (How).
   

   Activate Export bim+ Data in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: File Export
3. Log in to the bim+ server.

   Note: You can create a new account here.

4. Select the team.
5. To upload model data, you have the following options:
   • If the current project has already been set up in bim+, it is preset and you can decide whether you want to add the selected drawing files to the model or whether you want to create a new revision of the model.
   • If the current project does not yet exist in bim+, you can create it by clicking in the Projects column and export the selected drawing files as a model by clicking in the Models column.
   • If the current project does not yet exist in bim+, you can select a different project in the Projects column and add the selected drawing files as a new model to this bim+ project by clicking in the Models column.

     Note: If the current project does not yet exist in bim+, you can select from all the projects of the team.

6. Click Upload and upload the data.

Note: You cannot use Export bim+ Data to create empty projects in bim+.
