Configuration(s): Free reinforcement
The following settings are used to calculate the reinforcement based on given as-values. When calculating the reinforcement, the program combines up to two bar diameters that cover the required as-value best, regardless of the reinforcement types defined in the reinforcement type catalog.
'Longitudinal bars' + 'Cross bars' tabs
Use two diameters:
You can specify whether the program is to consider combinations of two adjacent diameters (for example, d8 and d10) or whether only one diameter (for example, only d8 or only d10) is to be analyzed.
Place at irregular offsets:
You can specify whether bars can be placed at irregular offsets. In this context, 'regular' means that all bars are within one grid (similar to the entry of a single placement in the reinforcement type catalog). 'Irregular', on the other hand, means that the bars can be in different grids (similar to the entry of two placements in the reinforcement type catalog).
'Parameters' tab
Delta value for min_As:
You can use the first parameter to specify whether the following value is an Absolute value (cm2/m) or a Percentage. The second entry defines the absolute value or percentage which specifies the range to be analyzed.
Warning if more than ?% of basic reinforcing bars are cut or removed:
Specify a percentage. The program will issue a warning as soon as this value is exceeded, which means that too many bars of the basic mesh are cut or removed completely.
'Bar displacement' tab
Move bars of basic reinforcement for fixtures:
You can specify whether basic reinforcing bars are to be moved when they are in the area of fixtures.
A move.max, basic reinforcement:
Enter the maximum value by which basic reinforcing bars can be moved in relation to their calculated position.
